Tickets for the 2014 AT&T Cotton Bowl, which features teams from the Big 12 and the Southeastern Conference, have already sold out, making it one of the quickest sellouts in the game's history, it was announced Monday.
It'll be the eighth consecutive sellout for the 78th Cotton Bowl, which has been played at Cowboys Stadium since 2010. Last year's matchup between Texas A&M and Oklahoma drew a crowd of 87,025.
"You can feel the excitement building from our passionate fan base as our game just seems to continue to grow," said Amy Scott, vice president of ticket sales. "You combine a world-class facility like Cowboys Stadium with great college football teams and tremendous local support, and it's a recipe for success."
The game will be played Jan. 3, 2014, and will be televised by Fox.
