Chicago Bulls fans aren't the only ones who can now own a piece of their team's championship playing surface at the United Center.

The Chicago Blackhawks announced this week they're going to sell melted home ice to commemorate their 2013 Stanley Cup season.

The Blackhawks melted and removed the ice from the United Center after their championship season and packaged it in a limited quantity of individual containers. A spokesperson said Tuesday they hoped to release more information about the souvenir packages later this week. Sales will be directed to the team's charities.

The Blackhawks won their second Stanley Cup since 2010 during the 2013 season. They set an NHL record for the best start to a season by recording points in their first 24 games.

They won the Presidents' Trophy with a 36-7-5 record and 77 points. They went 18-3-3 at the United Center in the regular season and 11-2 in the playoffs. They clinched the Stanley Cup finals on the road against the Boston Bruins in Game 6.
