Bucks sign guard Gary Neal

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free-agent guard Gary Neal and first-round draft pick Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The team announced the signings Tuesday. Neal got a two-year deal worth close to $6 million, just over a week after the San Antonio Spurs withdrew their qualifying offer and made him a free agent.

Neal averaged 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in three years with the Spurs. After playing a supporting role with the Spurs, Neal says the prospects of being a more featured player in Milwaukee made the decision easy for him.

Antetokounmpo was the 15th pick in the June draft. The 6-foot-9 forward comes to Milwaukee from Greece. He averaged 9.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game for Filathlitikos in Greece's second division.

Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com on Tuesday the Detroit Pistons agreed to a sign-and-trade deal that will net Brandon Jennings, a restricted free agent, a new three-year contract worth in excess of $25 million.

The busy Bucks will receive guard Brandon Knight, forward Khris Middleton and center Viacheslav Kravtsov in the deal, two sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

Information from The Associated Press, ESPN.com's Marc Stein and ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard was used in this report.
