Astros scratch Clemens from start

Associated Press

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Houston pitcher Paul Clemens has been scratched from his scheduled start against the Oakland Athletics on Sunday because of a blister on his right hand.

Lucas Harrell, who began the season in the Astros rotation before being moved to the bullpen in July, replaced Clemens. Harrell is 6-15 with 21 starts this year.

Clemens was scheduled to make his third start of the season for Houston before getting scratched.
