D-backs fans, we hear you loud and clear: your club knows how to give back. A four-spot bump in our standings, making Arizona the best MLB franchise in 2013, is a well-deserved prize for stellar pricing, a great ambience and the second-best record in the NL West. And, having made the playoffs in five of the first 15 seasons in franchise history, the D-backs' 33 percent playoff appearance rate is pretty stellar. It ranks second in baseball to the Yankees.

But really, who wouldn't want to head to the ballpark when you can buy a $4 beer, $9.99 cap, $10 parking and a $16.89 game ticket (only 90 cents higher than the league's cheapest)? For particularly brave stadium-goers, check out the Ghost Pepper wings, made with a chili pepper recognized by Guinness World Records as the hottest pepper in the world, served inside the brand-new 20,000-square-foot Game Seven Grill restaurant. Fans can sign a waiver, dig in and try to become "king of the wing" and take home a custom fire helmet. Later, if fans want to sweat off those wings, they can visit the new Mountainside Fitness Center located behind the wall in center field -- a 13,000-square-foot facility that the team says is the first health club to be housed in a sports venue in the U.S. (though you'll have to miss the last 15 minutes of Zumba with Omar to catch the opening pitch).

On any given night, there's a medley of activity inside Chase Field, including lucha libre mask giveaways and initiatives like the Yarnell 19 tribute, in which the D-backs honored the 19 firefighters who died in the Yarnell fire, raising more than $700,000 for the cause. With the D-backs doing so many good things, an extended postseason run would be a nice bonus.
