Kenseth races his way to No. 1

ESPN SportsNation

Matt Kenseth is a perfect 2-for-2 in this season's Chase after holding off teammate Kyle Busch for a second straight week to take the checkered flag at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Kenseth, who made his 500th career start, extended his points lead to 14 over Busch as the series heads to Dover. Landing in second this week was Henrik Stenson for ending the season with a win at the Tour Championship and with the FedEx title.

Rounding out the top five are a trio of football players who on defense and through the air helped their respective teams to a 3-0 record. Justin Houston hounded Michael Vick all game long, sacking him 4 1/2 times and forcing him to cough up the ball. Drew Brees and Peyton Manning each had 300-plus yards and three touchdowns as they continued to make their bids as the NFL's best quarterback. Do you agree with our top 10?
