At least three teams have contacted the Cleveland Browns about trading for wide receiver Josh Gordon, and two have standing offers of a high pick and a player, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Cleveland has two offers of a high pick and a player for Josh Gordon but is said to want more in return for the 22-year-old wide receiver.

The teams said the Browns are asking for more and are hesitant to deal Gordon unless they get the price they are seeking.

The Browns have said they're not interested in trading Gordon -- their best playmaker this season -- but they are listening, according to the sources.

The NFL trading deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Gordon, 22, is the Browns' second-leading receiver with 27 receptions for 450 yards and two touchdowns.

He failed to make a catch on a fourth-down conversion attempt by the Browns at the beginning of the fourth quarter Sunday against the Green Bay Packers with Cleveland trailing 17-6. The Packers won 31-13.

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski challenged Gordon on Monday but also defended him, saying the problem was technique and not effort.

"He went up for it," Chudzinski said of the pass Gordon let hit his chest in a key situation. "He tried to body-catch it more so than high-pointing it. Those are some technique things that we can work with him on.

"I've seen him make great catches before, and he's going to make more from here on out."

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter and ESPN.com Browns reporter Pat McManamon contributed to this report.
