Kevin Durant and LeBron James' recent game of "can you top this?" continued this past week, and this time it was KD's turn to impress.

Durant's 51-point outburst in Toronto lifted the Thunder to a win and gave him two 50-plus point games this season -- the first time that's been accomplished since 2008-09. After a series of strong performances by James, Durant's effort focused attention back on his MVP credentials in their two-man race for the award. It also earned him the No. 1 spot in this week's Cross-Sport Power Rankings.

The rankings have a basketball feel this week, with repeat nominee Anthony Davis and UConn star Shabazz Napier second and third, respectively. James Harden came in fourth, while Iowa State's DeAndre Kane rounds out the top five.
