Brandon Weeden goes Next Level
Looking for a QB in the clutch? Look no further than Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden, who was 25-of-36 passing when trailing Stanford in Monday's Fiesta Bowl. On the Cowboys final drive of regulation, Weeden completed 6-of-7 passes -- including three for 15-plus yards -- and tossed the game-tying score with 2:35 remaining.
Rice is a master of rushing between the tackles and reminded the Bengals why on Sunday. He ran for 73 yards and a touchdown between the tackles on the Ravens' opening drive and finished the game with 191 rushing yards (175 of which came between the tackles). Rice had similar success against the Bengals' defense in their Week 11 matchup, gaining 91 of his 104 yards between the tackles.
Matt Flynn attempted 17 throws outside the painted field numbers on Sunday with just three falling incomplete. Entering Sunday, only Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady attempted 17 or more throws outside the numbers in a game while completing 82.0 percent of their passes this season.
