Hobey Baker
Hobey Baker was a star in football and hockey at Princeton before joining the U.S. Army in 1917. Baker had three kills while he was a member of the U.S. Army Air Service, and he commanded the 103rd Aero Squadron before he died while testing a repaired aircraft at the end of World War I. The Hobey Baker Memorial Award is presented each year to the outstanding U.S. collegiate hockey player. (IHA/Icon SMI)
