Saints injury list grows as preparation for Bucs begins
NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Saints hit the practice field Wednesday with a long list of people watching instead of working.
Starting linebacker Darrin Smith did not practice. He began suffering from dizziness Tuesday night and had trouble standing up on Wednesday. He was to have tests to try to determine the cause Wednesday night.
Also sidelined were wide receiver Joe Horn, resting the knee that has bothered him most of the season, guard Kendyl Jacox, who has a knee injury, defensive tackle Johnathan Sullivan with knee and calf injuries, wide receiver Donte' Stallworth with a sore quad, and defensive tackle Kenderick Allen with a knee injury. All are listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
Linebacker Sedrick Hodge was back at work Wednesday, but coach Jim Haslett was not sure if he would be able to play on Sunday. Hodge has been out since the second game of the season when he fractured his kneecap.
Kenny Smith also has a sore knee, he's listed as probable for Sunday's game.
