RUHPOLDING, Germany -- Martin Fourcade of France shot perfectly while keeping a fast pace on the cross-country trail to win a 10-kilometer biathlon World Cup on Saturday for his third victory of the season.
The 16th victory of Fourcade's career extended his lead atop the overall standings.
The Frenchman took longer than his rival to complete the shooting, but he was clearly the fastest on skis to win comfortably against Evgeny Ustyugov of Russia, who was 16.4 seconds behind.
Andrei Makoveev of Russia was third.
None of the top three finishers missed any of the 10 targets.
