Dick Weber's Bowlin' Meat Ball

If you listen to ESPN Radio's Bob Valvano on GameNight's Clubhouse Cuisine segment, you know he likes to collect recipes. This comes from Hall of Fame bowler Dick Weber.

Dick is one a select few athletes to win a championship in five different decades.

Dick Weber's Bowlin' Meat Ball
Ingredients:
1 lb chop meat
1 chopped onion (small to medium, finely chopped)
2 teaspoons of protein powder
2 fresh eggs
Barbeque Sauce
Log Cabin Maple Syrup

Mix all above ingredients well. Make meat balls with an iced cream scoop. Brown meatballs in oil and simmer. While meatballs cook, prepare a sauce pan with a warmed mixture of Barbeque sauce mixed with Log Cabin Maple Syrup. This mixture can be blended to your taste before being heated, which is why no set amount is indicated in this recipe. This is the flavor that gives this dish its unique hot and sour taste...it's different and good!
