WHEN IT COMES TO ATHLETES AND PATRIOTISM, PAT TILLMAN IS TOPS
It's almost our great nation's birthday, when the smell of hot dogs and hamburgers fills the air (usually followed by Chinese-made fireworks.) Also, the annual Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest will happen in Coney Island. What's better than celebrating your nation's birth by watching a bunch of "competitive eaters" shovel down franks at heroic rates of speed? More importantly, how does July 4th relate to sports? We got to thinking about the most patriotic athletes in American history, straight up, no b.s. Feel free to let us know how we did.
