A salute to Pat Summitt

One of Pat Summitt's most impressive numbers was the 100 percent graduation rate of players who completed their eligibility.

One year ago today, the legendary Pat Summitt ended her illustrious coaching career at the University of Tennessee and was named head coach emeritus. Summitt, who has been inducted to both the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and the Basketball Hall of Fame, won eight national championships and 16 SEC tournament titles during her 38-year career. During her tenure with the Lady Vols, she coached against 164 different teams from 35 conferences in a total of 1,306 games. Her career record was 1,098-208. In 2000, she was named Naismith Women's Collegiate Coach of the Century.
