Ana Ivanovic Plans To 'Reassess' After Another Disappointing Slam
NEW YORK -- Ana Ivanovic is having a renaissance on the tennis court, but it didn't last long at the US Open. The No. 8 seed was upset in an hour and 20 minutes by Karolina Pliskova, 7-5, 6-4, on Louis Armstrong Stadium in the second round.
"Very disappointed to finish this early and in this manner," the 26-year-old Serbian said.
Even more disappointing is the fact that she's played well in tournaments leading up to the Grand Slams, but not in the majors themselves.
