It was windy in China for the first time in two weeks. Carrie Howe and her teammates took to the water for the final race of their 2008 Olympic campaign. They were in medal contention, but their true goal was gold.
"We'd won so many races coming into the Olympics," Howe said. "We won the world championships, so the expectations of what we could do for the U.S. were pretty huge."
