Taya Reimer named Morgan Wootten POY

Next month Taya Reimer will become half of the first father-daughter duo to compete in the McDonald's All-American games.

On Monday, the Notre Dame signee became the first girls' basketball player from Indiana to win the Morgan Wootten Player of the Year award.

"I just feel extremely blessed," she said at a news conference in Chicago, which will host the 2013 McDonald's All-American games.
