U.S. women set to play Mexico

CHICAGO -- The U.S. women's soccer team is returning to Washington, D.C., for the first time in more than five years for a Sept. 3 exhibition game against Mexico.

The teams will meet at RFK Stadium, where the Americans are unbeaten in their eight previous games.

The No. 1 team in the world, the U.S. is 26-1-1 against Mexico. But each of the last three meetings was decided by just one goal, including Mexico's lone win, a 2-1 victory during qualifying for the 2011 Women's World Cup.
