A'ja Wilson reveals four finalists

A'ja Wilson, the No. 1 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 for the 2014 class, has narrowed her college choices to four: Connecticut, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The 6-foot-5 forward for Heathwood Hall (Columbia, S.C.) said she will be completing her official visits with trips to Tennessee on Jan. 2-4 and South Carolina on Jan. 9-11. She will then discuss her options with her family and make a decision after her high school season is over and in time for the April signing period.

Wilson averaged 27.4 points, 13.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 3.0 steals and 5.0 blocks last season for Heathwood Hall and won a gold medal over the summer with USA Basketball at the U19 world championships in Lithuania.

Wilson's list was not a surprise, except perhaps that her home-state Clemson Tigers were absent.

"I'm extremely grateful to all the programs that have expressed an interest in me," Wilson said via text, "and wish them nothing but success moving forward."
