Kelly Clark makes 4th Olympic team

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. -- Snowboarder Kelly Clark secured her fourth trip to the Olympics on Saturday night by winning the U.S. Grand Prix halfpipe contest.

Clark, the 2002 gold medalist, fought a stomach virus all day but came out and scored a 98 -- two points shy of perfect -- on her second run to defeat American Arielle Gold by more than six points.

Gold's brother, Taylor, won the men's event and Greg Bretz finished second, adding that to his win last week at the Dew Tour.

Shaun White did not participate, choosing to focus on Sunday's slopestyle contest while he rehabilitates his sore left ankle.

Clark also won the bronze at the Vancouver Games in 2010.
