  • Known for his unique two-handed delivery, Australian bowler Jason "Belmo" Belmonte capped off the 2011-12 season with a win at the Pepsi PBA Elite Players Championship. That win marked his third title of the season after taking the Chameleon Open and the GEICO Shark Open. He finished second in earnings and second in competition points for the year.

  • At the 2012 Alka-Seltzer Plus Liquid Gels USBC Masters, American Mike Fagan staged a 30-pin comeback to claim his first career major win, defeating Chris Barnes 246-213. He finished the 2011-12 season with the PBA's second-best average (227.73) and led the league in match play appearances (14).

  • You could say that the 2011-12 season belonged to Sean Rash. With his win at the PBA Tournament of Champions, the league's top-ranked bowler not only earned his fifth career Tour title and his second major, but also cemented his claim to Player of the Year honors. He ended the season leading the PBA with most winnings ($140,250) and highest average (228.19).
