  • Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist won 39 games during the 2011-12 season, posting a 1.97 goals-against average. His performance in front of the net won him the Vezina Trophy as best goaltender.

  • Evgeni Malkin's 50 goals and 59 assists for 109 points not only earned him the Art Ross Trophy as the league's leading scorer; it also helped cement his place as the Hart Trophy winner for NHL's most valuable player.   • On the way to the title, Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick allowed just seven goals in six games in the Stanley Cup final. He finished the playoffs with a 16-4 record, 1.41 goals-against average and a .946 save percentage.
  • Steven Stamkos
  • Prolific scorer Steven Stamkos led the NHL last season with 60 goals and finished second in the league in scoring with 97 points. The Lightning center joined Alexander Ovechkin as the only two players to score 60 goals in one season since 1996.
