- Down 7-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning, the St. Louis Cardinals played like a team on a divine mission against the Texas Rangers. With David Freese at the plate, the Cardinals were down to their final strike when Freese ripped a game-tying two-run triple and stepped back up to the plate in the bottom of the 11th inning and belted the walk-off home run. In fact, the Cardinals were down to their final strike twice yet still prevailed.
