Miller submits Guillard in Round 1

Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard came very close to fighting for the UFC lightweight title in 2011. They built up significant win streaks and climbed near the top of the division.

Each also saw his win streak come to an end during his most recent outing.

Miller had his seven-bout winning streak halted by Benson Henderson in August. Guillard had won five in row before facing upset-minded Joe Lauzon in October.
