Cristiane Santos has appeal denied
The California State Athletic Commission on Monday denied an appeal by former Strikeforce women's featherweight champion Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos to have her one-year suspension reduced.
Santos' license was suspended by the CSAC when her prefight urine sample came back positive for stanozolol metabolites shortly after she defeated Hiroko Yamanaka on Dec. 17.
