Vitor Belfort out with fractured hand

A broken hand has forced middleweight contender Vitor Belfort to withdraw from UFC 147, promotion president Dana White said Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Belfort was scheduled to meet Wanderlei Silva in the card's main event, which will be held June 23 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
