UFC 159: Jones vs. Sonnen

UFC 159 was a mixed martial arts event held on April 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The main event featured a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen, who served as coaches for Season 17 of "The Ultimate Fighter". Jones won via first-round TKO.

Jones made his fifth successful defense of the title he won at UFC 128, and is unbeaten in his past nine bouts. Sonnen was fighting at light heavyweight for the first time since 2005, after spending the bulk of his career at middleweight. He fell to 0-4 in title bouts between UFC and WEC.
