Ryan Nyquist finished seventh in vert.
Greenville, N.C. native Dave Mirra dazzled the crowd with a first place finish in the bicycle stunt vert competition at ESPN's B3, Bikes, Boards and Blades, Saturday at the Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District in Beaverton, Ore. Spectators filled the standing room-only competition to support Mirra's aggressive and technical performance. Jamie Bestwick of Heanor, UK claimed the siver medal while Dennis McCoy of Kansas City, Mo. took the bronze. Mirra will now turn his attention to the street competition where he hopes to add to his gold medal total.
