X Games close with flourish
At Mount Snow, Vt., ESPN's Winter X Games came to a close February 6 with high-flying action. Peter Line and Tara Dakides won Snowboard Big Air golds -- Dakides was the only athlete to win a pair of gold medals. France's Candide Thovex won the gold medal in Skiing Big Air. The total attendance of 83,500 was the best in the four-year history of Winter X.
