Hot Stove, Cool Music ESPN's Peter Gammons presents the 2nd Annual Hot Stove, Cool Music, on Thursday, Jan. 17 at the Paradise in Boston. The event features musical guests and a silent auction, including items from Paul O'Neill, Ken Griffey Jr., Tony Gwynn, Nomar Garciaparra, Jason Giambi and more. All proceeds from the evening benefit The Jimmy Fund for cancer research. Doors open at 7 p.m. All tickets are $15 and are available at the door or through NEXT Ticketing at (617) 423-NEXT.
Rock band Flynn will perfom cuts from their recent album On Your Way. Fans of Buffalo Tom can check out frontman Bill Janovitz -- whose most recent album was named one of the Ten Best by the Boston Herald. Former Letters to Cleo rocker Kay Hanley will also be on hand along with bands Raging Teens and Carlton Fisk. Several other surprise guests from the worlds of music and sports are expected.
