Now

Jason Sobel ESPN Senior Writer

It's getting late early for Dustin Johnson. After an opening 77 yesterday, he just made bogey on his third hole of the second round to move to 8-over for the tournament. He'll need to play the final 15 holes in something like 5- or 6-under in order to play the weekend.

Jason Sobel ESPN Senior Writer

Buoyed by a strong finish to his round yesterday, Jordan Spieth is swinging it well early on this morning. He's now started birdie-birdie-bogey-birdie and has already moved into the top-10.

There are now 13 guys under par at the PGA Championship as the rain has come to an end. Best score is Soomin Lee -2 thru 2 holes on the day. Everyone else is -1 on the day with John Senden having the most holes completed ... 8.

The PGA of America must now run new pin sheets out to players and caddies on the course, some for a second time! LPGA Tour pro Mallory Blackwelder would know all this info because her husband, Julien Trudea, is caddying for Colt Knost.

ANOTHER revision to the hole location for Round 2 at the PGA Championship!!!

Michael Collins ESPN Senior Writer

Mud balls are going to be an issue for Round 2 at the PGA Championship as the day progresses. Because play began without using lift, clean, and place the whole round must be completed by playing the ball down (as it lies).

Play did NOT resume at 8:45am EST... Still in a holding pattern and starting to feel like we're at the airport.

Play scheduled to resume at 8:45am EST. Squeegee FASTER!!

Michael Collins ESPN Senior Writer

Looks like it's not just the greens that need the squeegee!

Players will stay in position and wait out the rain on the course until it becomes playable in approximately 20 minutes. #PGAChamp

Players are holding positions on the course during rain delay at PGA Championship. Hoping to resume in approx 20 minutes once course is playable.

Michael Collins ESPN Senior Writer

Former PGA Tour and European Tour player Thomas Levet just told me that play has been suspended so they can squeegee off the greens. Players are holding position since 8:15 and will resume as soon as they can get the course playable. He also said one of the practice putting greens is un-puttable because of puddles.
