Everyone loves the Masters. I'm not sure I know one sports fan who doesn't annually watch the action from amongst the azaleas in Augusta. Same goes for the other three majors. And the Ryder Cup. They play 'em, we'll watch 'em. No matter what.

Casual fans can get behind a handful of other intriguing events during the year. Toss Tiger and Phil into the mix at, say, Doral or Bay Hill, and you might even have a ratings bonanza.

Die-hard golf fans will watch anything. The Chitimacha Louisiana Open? Check. The Abu Dhabi Championship? You got it.
