Reifers makes a name for himself

OK, first things first: In perhaps golf's biggest name pronunciation struggle since Creamer vs. Cramer (once and for all, it's Paula CREE-mer, LPGA fans), Kyle Reifers let the world know on Thursday that his surname is pronounced RIGH-fers, not REE-fers, although he does answer to both.

"I'm used to it by now," he said after shooting a course record 8-under 64 at TPC-Louisiana to take a two-stroke lead after the first round of the Zurich Classic. "'Reefers,' and 'Who is this guy?' "

Well, let's get it right, folks. And let's wonder no more who this guy really is.
