Sim, Sims rise on leaderboards

CROMWELL, Conn. -- Michael Sim shot a 5-under 65 to make a move on the leaderboard Thursday. Michael Sims shot a 4-under 68 to make a move on the leaderboard Thursday.

Confused? Good.

They are, in fact, two different people, playing two different courses in two different states on two different tours, but each player opened with a solid score to make some headlines. Sim, playing in the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship, shot a 29 for his back nine (the front side of the TPC River Highlands course) to make a big move. Meanwhile, Sims shot a bogey-free round at the Knoxville Open to do the same.
