Even Tiger gets tired

ATLANTA -- When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

You can fine me a buck for starting this blog entry with a cliche, but I'll gladly pay it after watching Tiger Woods' performance this past week. I mean, how else can you explain a guy who won four of his last five starts this season, one year after winning each of his last six?

While many players spoke of being mentally and physically exhausted after a stretch in which most of them played four straight weeks and seven of the last nine, Tiger appeared to barely break a sweat, concluding his 64-63-64 start with a final-round 66 on Sunday.
