Martin Kaymer goes eagle-eagle

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Through the 26 tournaments in the 2013-14 PGA Tour season heading into the Wells Fargo Championship, there had been 667 eagles recorded by 195 players, but only two players made them on consecutive holes.

Martin Kaymer became the third when he went 2 under par on back-to-back holes at Quail Hollow during the first round.

Making his scorecard look a bit more unusual, he bookended those eagles with bogeys, meaning he played the four-hole stretch on the front ...
