Presidents Cup, Nov. 17-20, (2-3-0) The record was deceiving. Aside from a first-day 7 and 6 defeat with Steve Stricker, Tiger Woods played very well at Royal Melbourne, where his game stood up strong on the tricky course, especially in Saturday's windy conditions.

The tricky breeze coupled with a golf course that was hard and fast made for difficult scoring, but Woods hit 17 of 18 greens in his best-ball match -- and still lost. The next day, he rebounded with a 4 and 3 victory ...
