Watson only player with Grand Slam shot

SAN FRANCISCO -- It has been 10 years since an American won the Masters and the U.S. Open in the same year. Tiger Woods captured them both in 2002, the first player since Jack Nicklaus in 1972 to accomplish that double.

To find two different Americans to win the first two majors, you have to go back to 1998, when Mark O'Meara won the Masters and Lee Janzen won the U.S. Open at Olympic.
