Tiger Woods 1 over at Greenbrier

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. -- Coming off an impressive victory Sunday, Tiger Woods was back to ordinary Thursday in his first appearance at the Greenbrier Classic, calling his opening round "frustrating."

Woods managed just a 1-over-par score of 71 on the Old White TPC course at the Greenbrier and trailed old nemesis Vijay Singh by 8 strokes.

Singh, 49, who battled Woods for No. 1 in the world in 2004 and '05, shot 63, including a 6-under 30 on the back nine.
