Bill Haas to miss playoff finale

CARMEL, Ind. -- A year ago, Bill Haas played an incredible shot from a water hazard during a playoff at East Lake Country Club in Atlanta to help win the Tour Championship as well as the $10 million FedEx Cup bonus.

This year, Haas won't even get to play in the tournament.

Continuing an odd trend, Haas became the fifth straight reigning FedEx Cup champion to fail to advance to the season-ending Tour Championship in Atlanta, which features the top 30 players in the playoff ...
