Phil Mickelson owns 42 career PGA Tour victories. The next 15 players on the leaderboard have a combined 39.

As one of Chris Berman's producers during the early days of my ESPN career, I've often heard him refer to a big game (think Montana to Clark, circa 1982) by reminding viewers: "I know... because I was there!" He knows this feeling, too, as Boomer has made the cut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am yet again. Teaming with J.J. Henry, they posted scores of 64-68-63 to finish the third round in a share of 11th place and qualify for another day at Pebble Beach tomorrow. Congrats to one of our own on another cut at this event. I know... because I was there.

Phil Mickelson's stats at Pebble Beach today: --Driving distance: 276.8 --Fairways: 7 of 14 --Greens in regulation: 9 of 18 --Putts: 21

That's a bogey-free 6-under 66 for Phil Mickelson and he'll likely own the 54-hole lead in search of a 43rd career victory tomorrow.
