JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -- Brandt Snedeker has been assessed a two-stroke penalty for being late to his tee time at the PGA Championship.
The PGA of America says Snedeker showed up 2 minutes, 15 seconds late for his 8:10 a.m. ET tee time Friday. He's playing with Jose Maria Olazabal and Robert Karlsson.
Snedeker shot a 4-over 74 in the opening round, and the penalty hurt his chances of making the cut.
