So, what happened with Tiger's 79?
Tiger Woods carded one of the worst rounds of his career Saturday at the Farmers Insurance Open, and many had a few opinions on what ailed the world's No. 1-ranked golfer.
Woods had to sink a midrange putt on No. 9 (his 18th hole) at Torrey Pines' South Course, a venue where he has won eight times as a professional.
Here's a sampling of some Twitter reaction to Woods' rough day on the PGA Tour.
I guess i am not crazy now. After shooting 80 yesterday don't feel so bad after tiger did it today. #torreyishard— Shawn Stefani (@ShawnStefani1) January 25, 2014
Torrey Pines is everything that's is wrong with the modern game. Requires course architects to "steroid up" the venues. Beautiful but brutal— Steve Flesch (@Steve_Flesch) January 25, 2014

Even tho he blew off reporters, Tiger called over Kostis on way to 9th tee, whispered to him that it was good to see him back from cancer.— Doug Ferguson (@dougferguson405) January 25, 2014

The Jeopardy! clue is, "He had a 7, two 6s, seven 5s, two 4s, five 3s and a 2 today at Torrey Pines." The answer is "Who is Tiger Woods?"— Mike O'Malley (@GD_MikeO) January 25, 2014
I wonder if the Made cut Did Not Finish rule will be ignored this week so that Tiger can play on Sunday. #tvratings— Parker McLachlin (@ParkerMcLachlin) January 25, 2014
