Lee Soo-min grabs Asian Amateur lead
SINGAPORE -- Korea's Lee Soo-min fired a 7-under 65 on Thursday to grab the lead after 18 holes of the Asian Amateur Championship at The Singapore Island Country Club.
Lee, 17, had six birdies and an eagle on his round, two shots better than Hideki Matsuyama of Japan, Kenneth Christian John De Silva from Malaysia, Ian Andrew from Indonesia and Ben Campbell from New Zealand
The winner of the event earns a spot in the 2012 Masters at Augusta National.
