Tiger to play in Turkey next week
Tiger Woods' schedule for the rest of the year will include a stop next week at the $5.2 million Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, according to his official website.
Woods will play in the tournament from Tuesday through Friday at the the PGA Sultan Course at the Antalya Golf Club in Belek, Antalya.
In the group stage on the first two days of the event, Woods will compete in three match-play rounds, with the winners and runners-up of each group advancing to Thursday's semifinals ahead of Friday's final.
Woods also will play the third annual CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Oct. 25-28, at the Mines Resort and Golf Club. A field of 48 will pursue $6.1 million in prize money at that event.
The World Golf Final is hosted by the Turkish Golf Federation, while the CIMB Classic is co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and the Asian Tour.
Woods' agenda this year includes two other unofficial events -- the Tiger Woods Invitational in Pebble Beach, Calif., and his year-end World Challenge in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
