Choi tied for second

SEOUL, South Korea -- Corey Pavin closed with three straight
birdies in a round of 4-under-par 68 Saturday and was three strokes
off the lead heading into the final round of the rain-shortened SK
Telecom Open.

Pavin, the 1995 U.S. Open champion, is at 9-under 135, tied for
fifth behind Shin Yong-jin of South Korea, who moved to 12-under
132 with a second-round 64.

South Korea's K.J. Choi, a two-time winner on the PGA Tour last
year, fired a 3-under 69 and was tied for second place, one stroke
behind Shin.

Friday's second round was canceled due to heavy rain.
