Duval is slowly creeping his way back into the contention. After falling three back after 12 holes, the focused 27-year-old has won his second in a row at 14, leaving him one hole away from Woods.
After Duval drove the ball about 225 yards from the pin off his tee shot, he looped his second shot about 15-feet from the pin, setting up an eagle putt. Woods, about 190 yards away after his tee shot, hit the rough beyond the green. With the crowd on both sides of him, Tiger's third shot was a beauty, leaving him eight feet away.
From 15 feet away, Duval missed the eagle putt.
Woods missed his 8-foot par shot, and the crowd whistled. Duval then shaved the another stroke off the lead by making par off a 5-footer.
