Senior Tour golfers get a chance to mix with NFL players at this week's stop at Upper Montclair Country Club.
NFL players are playing their own four-round tournament, which wraps up Saturday. The real golfers hit the links Friday for a three-day event won last year by Bob Dickson in a playoff with Larry Nelson and Jim Colbert.
Dickson's win was his first on the Senior Tour and broke a 25-year drought. He had not been to the winner's circle since the 1973 Andy Williams San Diego Open on the regular tour. And his win didn't come easy.
Dickson made up three strokes on Sunday to get into a playoff, then sunk a 20-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to put away Colbert and Nelson, who both missed birdie chances.
Dickson will be back to defend his title. He is one of four former champions in the field, joining Bob Murphy (1997), Raymond Floyd (1994) and Lee Trevino (1993).

Many of the big names on the Senior Tour are bypassing this event, with just five players in the top 10 on the money list in the field. Bruce Fleisher and Allen Doyle, who are fighting for the top position, are playing.
Hale Irwin, who won last week for the second time in May, is skipping this event.
In addition to Trevino and Floyd, other Senior Tour legends are in the field. Arnold Palmer and Gary Player are both participating.
They will face a tricky golf course with lots of short par-4s. But some small, slick greens will keep scores from getting too low, as judged by Dickson's winning total of 9-under last year.
The Senior Tour heads back to the South after this stop, stopping in Tennessee next week for the BellSouth Senior Classic at Opryland, then on to San Antonio for the Southwestern Bell Dominion.
