Plymouth Salem falls out of the top 5
ESPN will release the ESPN RISE FAB 50 national boys' soccer rankings each Tuesday of the regular season and playoffs, continuing through the final games of the various state playoffs around the nation. For the state-by-state rankings, click here.
Saline (Mich.) and Algonquin (Northborough, Mass.) earned their FAB 50 rankings by registering wins over FAB 50 teams last week.
Saline took out former Top 5 Plymouth Salem (Mich.) in postseason action while Algonquin handled former FAB 50-ranked St. John's Shrewsbury 3-0.
Overall, there was not much change among the Top 25, just some jockeying to prepare for the stretch run. Reitz Memorial is the first school that could guarantee a FAB 50 ranking as the Indiana state playoffs finish this weekend. Also, Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) and DeMatha (Md.), which twice played to draws, could face each other again in this week's WCAC playoffs.
Rankings through matches played as of Sunday, Oct. 26.
